About me

I’m an Associate Professor in Social Statistics at the University of Manchester, specialising in the collection and analysis of longitudinal data.

My research focuses on improving data quality through advanced statistical models—such as structural equation modelling, latent class analysis, and item response theory—applied to data over time. I also work with new forms of data, including digital traces and administrative records, exploring how to integrate and validate diverse sources to generate better insights.

I’m the creator of longitudinalanalysis.com, a platform offering practical tools, training, and guidance for researchers working with longitudinal data.
